If you are looking for sophisticated invitations that are tailored to your unique event with a collaborative, stress-free design process, and straight-forward pricing, then you’ve come to the right place!
Paper products are one of the first components of your wedding that guests will see. I like to think of them as a sneak peek, or teaser, for your big day. We will work together to create the perfect glimpse of your event to get your guests just as excited as you are! In addition to myself and my years of design experience and etiquette knowledge, I have relationships with teams of talented printers who share my exacting standards. My print partners appreciate the quality of a finely printed product, ensuring that you receive luxurious invitations ready to be treasured for years to come.
My aesthetic is timeless with a twist; a blend of both classic proportions and modern touches, producing invitations that are elegant, without being formal or stuffy, and with a strong sense of design and style. By including bold colors and patterns, often paired with contemporary calligraphy and classic text, the designs are simple yet sophisticated.
My name is Chelsey and I am a New England girl down to my core. I was born & raised in Maine, and now live just outside Boston with my high-school sweetheart husband, our inquisitive daughter, and an overly friendly chocolate lab. I enjoy working individually with each client, on a one-to-one basis, designing pieces that reflect their individual style and creating something that they too are passionate about.
Chelsey Emery began out of an unfulfilled search for my own wedding invitations. I was looking for something clean and modern, but also timeless. I didn’t want to look at my invitations years from now and have them feel tied to a certain decade. I didn’t want to just pick something out of a book, and I was frustrated by the lack of customization options. I wanted to tweak colors & fonts to suit our unique event without incurring a big fee to do so.
As you might imagine, I didn’t find what I was looking for and ended up designing my own paper products. Then I did some for friends, and friends of friends, and soon enough, people I had never met were asking me to design paper pieces for their own important events. I now work for Chelsey Emery full time and it is certainly a dream come true for me. I often pinch myself to remind me that yes, I really do get to play with pretty paper all day!
